We are in search of an Accounting Assistant who will give support to the finance department with data entry and administrative tasks.
He/she will be the first point of contact in the reception representing Isidore with clients, vendors, and public in general.
We are looking for career-minded individual who have a passion for the work they do. Training is provided.Main Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Greet and direct visitors to the right people
- Answer and filter incoming phone calls
- Check daily mail, scan, distribute and file as appropriate
- Support with the credit cards' management and journal entries
- Scan bills and send to folder cleanup to be processed
- Courier coordinate cheques & docs pickup and outgoing docs to be sent
- Check inventory of office supplies and buy when needed
- Supply office refreshments every morning (coffee, creamer, etc.)
- Make sure pantry is organized at all times
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Basic accounting course (Accounting Diploma or highschool course)
- Desired 1year experience in customer service and supporting administrative office tasks (not necessary)
- A combination of education and experience may apply.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Good listening skills
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multitask
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Customer Service
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Working knowledge of Quick Books will be an asset
