is a North American multi-location automobile dealership group currently operating 60 franchised dealerships in Canada, and 19 franchised dealerships in the US with a total of 28 brands.

We also operate used car operations, several collision centers and special finance facilities across Canada. Our head office is located in Edmonton.

We are in growth mode and looking for someone to assist with all of our existing properties as well as new ones we are considering.

We have an exciting opportunity available within the Real Estate & Facilities Team as a Commercial Leasing Administration Specialist.

Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities and in consultation with our legal team, this position offers excellent career growth and training opportunities.

The Commercial Leasing Administration Specialist will provide support to our facilities and legal teams in entering into new leases, ensuring compliance with lease terms, monitoring the termination and renewal of leases and reporting through software programs for the facilities group, along with our legal and finance teams.


Responsibilities:


  • In conjunction with our facilities and legal teams and external consultants, preparation of various lease documents, including the drafting and/or review of offers to lease and leases, waiver letters, lease amendments etc. and any other required documentation based upon standard form templates and distributing documents to appropriate departments
  • Establishing and maintaining tracking and/or reports, updating and maintaining documentation
  • Assisting with various diligence matters in new properties we are considering
  • Processing documents and invoices, including broker commissions and search invoices etc.
  • Performing lease management including; exclusive or restrictive, pylon signage, addressing, legal descriptions, renewal terms and expired leases
  • Providing administrative support as required

Essential Requirements:


  • Post secondary education
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial real estate, leasing, property management or legal experience in Commercial Real Estate is required
  • Comfortable using office equipment, Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Preferred Requirements

  • Diploma in business or related coursework in real estate administration is an asset
  • Experience working with various software programs is considered an asset
