As a
Network Administrator, your duties will include:


  • Design and perform the planning, development, and management of all Network services, programs, and projects throughout the enterprise and provide status updates as needed.
  • Provide training and orientation for staff and team members as needed.
  • Collaborating with Project Management teams and other Administrators regularly.
  • Maximize network performance by monitoring activity and scheduling upgrades.
  • Assist with capacity planning for network bandwidth.
  • Stay informed on new or emerging trends and technologies that provide clear benefits to the organization.
  • Perform and assist with disaster recovery operations as necessary.
  • Create and write technical documents, reports, and evaluations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Certifications

  • CCNP/CCIE
  • Switching and Route/Wireless/Security.
  • IT infrastructure knowledge and experience (i.e. migrations, operating system upgrades, desktop, and software rollouts, etc.).
  • Proficiency with networks, firewalls, encryption, and other aspects of network security technologies.
  • Proficiency with multiple hardware vendors: Cisco, IBM, Dell, HP, EMC, Checkpoint.
  • Strong knowledge of system design, installation, backup, recovery, storage management, methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Systems; Windows 2012, 2016 / Hyper-V /clustering.
  • Ability to design, plan, configure Virtual Private Cloud (VPV) and Hybrid interconnectivity.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail (prioritize work and multitask amongst competing demands).
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills, able to work with staff at all levels of the organization and independently.
  • Excellent analytical abilities as well as the ability to think critically.
