We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Maintenance and Turnaround division and build innovative projects in the oil, gas, petrochemical, renewable energy, power, mining, forestry, underground, heavy construction, maintenance, turnarounds and sustaining capital sectors.

About The Role

  • Lead and provide guidance to a team of direct reports
  • Oversight of accounting activities for the portfolio including, project accounting, time entry, and billings
  • Review accounting periodend entries including but not limited to cost and revenue accruals, allocations, and relevant reconciliations
  • Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports including management discussion comments and variance analysis
  • Oversee financial plans and processes for the organization to achieve cash management goals
  • Lead the financial support to Operations through monthly reviews, and ad hoc analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Understand project profitability drivers and use of KPIs to manage/improve performance
  • Act as a trusted Business Partner to Operations and representative of the finance function to the business
  • Maintain, monitor, and document the accounting processes and controls to ensure continued compliance
  • Assist in identifying and recommending system updates and enhancements as the business environment evolves

Minimum Requirements:


  • CPA with 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Working knowledge of Construction, Manufacturing, or Servicerelated business is an asset
  • Continuous improvement mindset and adaptability to an evolving organization
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships at various levels within the organization
