Job Description:


Studio Operations Management:


  • Represent the Operations team in local Senior Management Team and leadership meetings
  • Oversee Staff support, ad hoc requests, and budget
  • Ensure process creation & documentation to maintain a standard for daytoday studio management
  • Align all Operations teams to support operational processes across sites (Montreal and Toronto) and TCS brands in Montreal
  • Mikros, MPC and Technicolor Games
  • Supervises the Office Manager, Receptionist, Orientation Coordinator, Executive Assistant and PO Processor
  • Manages Visitor coordination and approval
  • Responsible for Studio tours upon request
  • Manages Client services:
  • Coordination with client side to facilitate a smooth visit
  • Facilities coordination:
  • Coordinate with the the systems team for desk setup and hardware specifications
  • Calendar bookings
  • Coordinate with the production team
  • The primary point of contact for client requests during their visit
  • Supervision of Lead Runner in client support during visit
  • Food & beverage runs
  • Reservations
  • Appointment bookings
  • Manages Studio merchandise inventory and orders
  • Budget approval
  • Inventory management
  • Approvals and orders
  • Administrative support for employee engagement activities and events organized by Internal Communications and Culture Manager
  • Oversee purchase order administration with the Office Coordinator:
  • Operational POs
  • Facilities POs
  • Production outsourcing POs
  • Engagement POs and payments
  • Operations approver in the Coupa approval chain
  • Statement Report approver for MPC corporate credit card
  • Oversee food & beverage services with the Office Manager & Runners Team:
  • OT meal process implementation
  • Daily OT meal execution
  • Runners Team
  • Weekly food & beverage inventory
  • Weekly food & beverage orders
  • Ad hoc food & beverage requests
  • Work with the procurement team to review food & beverage vendors

Facilities Support:


  • Coordinate with the facilities team for general studio maintenance
  • Studio improvement projects:
  • Capex budget proposals
  • Budget management for Capex projects
  • Project management with facilities manager

Launch/Manage TCS Café Project:


  • Operational setup and process creation/documentation
  • Recruitment café team
  • Training and implementation of café processes and schedules
  • Operational budget management
  • Work with Employee Engagement and Culture Manager to support event planning in the café space
  • Work with the Office Manager and Runners Team to help with regular studio services in the café space

Employee Onboarding and Induction - with Orientation Coordinator and HR:

  • Oversee employee onboarding and induction with the Orientation Coordinator, HR, and Infrastructure Operations
  • Onboarding project management before employees start date:
  • Desk assignment
  • Account credential assignment
  • Hardware assignment
  • Induction coordination in the first week
  • Studio tour
  • Branded induction
  • Documentation of firstweek plans for managers, trainers, and other stakeholders
  • Regular employee support during first month
  • General employee experience support
  • New Starters Hub SharePoint:
  • Documentation of Technicolor policies and procedures for starters
  • Montreal city guide
  • Studio Operations guide

Infrastructure Operations Support:


  • Fixed asset inventory support
  • Shipping and receiving coordination
  • Hardware packing

Environmental Health and Safety:


  • Member of environmental health and safety committee
  • Covid19 safety and security measures
  • Contingency plan administration
  • Monthly H&S walkthrough
  • Manage action items for the the H&S committee
  • Integrating TC Games into the H&S structure

Business Continuity Management

  • Ensure that Business Continuity Plan is up to date
  • Run tabletop exercises to ensure that our contingency plans are effective

Content Security Management

  • Security Council Chair and Management Security Lead on client security audits
  • Physical and content security audits with clients
  • Internal security training
  • Raise and manage Significant Business Incidents
  • Ensure that remediations are actioned by the appropriate parties and completed
  • Yearly security budget
