The Role:

We are looking for an Offset Manager to join the MDA team.

In this role, you will manage all the Industrial Technology Benefits obligations for MDA's Geointelligence Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) project.


Responsibilities:


  • Offset obligations management for RPAS project
  • Act as the day to day advisor to the Program Management team and the Senior Director, Offsets on ITB matters related to RPAS transactions applicable to the GEOINTELLIGENCE Business Area
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that contracts and subcontracts are managed in a manner consistent with the relevant ITB obligations
  • Support negotiation, drafting, review and execution of Offsets for contracts and subcontracts and administration of associated contract and subcontract agreements throughout the life of the contract, including change order management, amendments, and claims
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to identify direct and indirect offset activity and prepare Transactions and Reports for submission to customers
  • Provide thorough and timely review/management briefings of current ITB status and develop strategies to meet outstanding commitments
  • Support the creation, revision, and implementation of policies, processes and tools related to subcontract and ITB transactions
  • Such other responsibilities as may from time to time, be assigned by the Senior Director, Corporate Development

Job Requirements:


  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Offset professional within the aerospace, defense or hightechnology industries, with experience in drafting, negotiating and managing complex and high profile transactions.
  • Postsecondary degree in business, law, or engineering from a recognized university. Experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to interact with personnel at all levels
  • Strong business judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a capacity to build strong working relationships across the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with attention to details and thoroughness
  • Excellent organizational skills, effectively managing priorities while meeting timelines
  • Excellent team player

Eligible to qualify for Controlled Goods Program and NATO Secret security clearances:

  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset but not required
