Description
Frankor is looking for CNC Operators.

Compensation is based on skill and experience.


Responsibilities

  • Read/interpret drawings/part specifications and verify/adjust speeds and feeds for optimum machining.
  • Make necessary offset changes to be within allowable tolerances
  • Change inserts
  • Verify conformance of part to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as, scales, calipers, micrometers and fixed gauges; Fill out inspection reports as required
  • Clean machined parts to ensure ready for assembly
  • Report all issues in regards to tooling and setup to the supervisor
  • Keep a clean, organized and safe workplace
  • To be punctual, and act in accordance with company policies and procedures

Experience/Skills

  • 1+ years experience and/or some schooling
  • Good working knowledge of tools, blueprints, and drawing
  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs repetitively, comfortably and safely
  • Experience operating CNC Lathes and asset
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to setup CNC Lathes an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$22.00-$26.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
