    YOUR MANDATE

    We are looking for an Executive Chef to bring our customers on a gastronomic journey through the Greek Isles while dining in our restaurant.

    • Create and prepare high-quality dishes in a timely manner
    • Develop and create menu items based on seasonal ingredients and restaurant themes.
    • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to Carma Hospitality standards.
    • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
    • Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in accordance with MAPAQ.
    • Collaborate with management to develop new menu concepts and specials
    • Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality

    REQUIRED PROFILE

    • 5 years proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high volume authentic Greek restaurant.
    • 3 years proven experience as a Sous-Chef or similar role in a high volume Greek restaurant.
    • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    • Creativity and innovation in menu planning and recipe development
    • Fluently bilingual in French and English, written and oral.
    • Flexible working schedule which may include days, evenings, weekends or holidays.
    • Administrative skills, ( food costs, scheduling, commanding the team, etc.)
