About the Opportunity
The Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Dalhousie University is looking for candidates interested in pursuing an academic career in Head and Neck/Microvascular Surgery. The ideal candidate, with fellowship training, will join a team of four experienced surgeons in a well-established multidisciplinary Head and Neck cancer program serving the Maritime provinces. This role offers protected and fully funded research time, providing a fantastic opportunity for candidates with a master's degree and a passion for basic science research. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading clinical outcomes research for the head and neck program, with expertise in shared decision-making seen as a valuable asset.
The QEII Health Sciences Centre, affiliated with Dalhousie University, is the primary teaching hospital known for excellence in healthcare research. It delivers essential health services to residents of the Halifax region, which represents half of Nova Scotia's population, and offers specialized acute care to individuals from Atlantic Canada.
