Canadian Professional Management Services is looking for new facilitators to join our growing team.
If you are an experienced Labour Relations and/or Human Resources professional and enthusiastic about developing and executing training programs, you might be a good fit for us.
This role might be for you if you are a recently retired LR/HR professional seeking to make a meaningful contribution.
About CPMS:
CPMS has a 20-year history of success, assisting organizations in building legitimate leaders through professional development, education, conferences, and consulting services.
Our training programs incorporate the best human resources practices taken from a combination of real workplace experiences and traditional academic studies.
Our attendees come from both the private and public sector, unionized and non -unionized work environments, and from both small and large organizations across Canada.
CPMS' consultants have an average of 25 years experience and have held executive leadership positions across Canada from small organizations to large Fortune 500 companies (including: Rio Tinto, Johnson and Johnson, GM, RCMP, Bruce Power, and INTERPOL).
Qualifications:
- French and English fluency
- A Bachelor's degree or higher
- Human Resources and/or Labour Relations experience at the Senior Executive / Director level (minimum 10 years)
- Experience in a Unionized environment is required
- Facilitation / Training experience an asset
- Familiar with and able to use experiential training techniques
- Friendly/approachable personality, ability to connect with training program participants
- Ability to travel regularly within Canada
- Able to use and familiar with training equipment: laptop, projector, etc.
- Microsoft Suite knowledge, especially PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Zoom platform
- Experience in public speaking and/or negotiations

- Nonexclusive: As an independent contractor, working with us is compatible with your other work projects/retirement (as long as it's not held with a competing training provider or competing human resources/labour relations consulting provider).
How the training schedule works:
Trainers usually present in person our 3-day or a series of half-day workshops for each assignment, in cities across Canada.
