Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties to support the Operations Manager and Supervisors at the various transit Centre's.
Enters and updates Accident and Incident reports/logs and forwards to appropriate department for investigation.
Maintains and updates various systems, enters operator information, employee file and belongings transfers, changes of status and personal information.
Researches and coordinates claim tracers and codes red light tickets to forward to the appropriate department.
Coordinates uniforms for Conventional and Community Shuttle Operators.
Maintains and balances Petty Cash and corporate credit card receipts.
Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by related courses in administration, word processing, database and spreadsheet software and the use of web-based systems.
Requires one (1) year previous experience in an office environment with general administration duties, and the ability to work independently to research and record employee information from a variety of sources.
A further period of up to six (6) months in the position is required to gain knowledge of operations, policies and procedures, and to become familiar with various systems, forms, research and investigative tools.
This includes gaining a working knowledge of the UNIFOR collective agreement.Other Information:
Recruitment Process:
An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process.
A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.Work Schedule:
37.5 hours per week.
This is a full-time temporary position for approximately eighteen (18) months.
Work Designation:
Resident
This position works predominately on-site.
Rate of Pay:
Salary $4,690 - $5,628 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
