Human Resources Assistant / Human Resources Assistant Co-op to join our
Vancouver, BC headquarters team.

Our dynamic and diverse head office team is continually growing, and we are excited to welcome a motivated and energetic Human Resources Assistant to contribute to our vibrant workplace.

The Human Resources Assistant will be reporting to the National Human Resources Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager.

Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

Support all internal and external HRrelated inquiries or requests.
Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
Assist with benefits administration.
Facilitate employee onboarding packages through DocuSign and related software.
Assist with performance management procedures.
Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, and maintain agendas.
Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
Complete jobchange paperwork, such as raises, promotions, terminations, etc.
Stay uptodate with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Participate in Occupational Health and Safety activities.
Assist with adhoc projects and provide support to the administrative and leadership teams.

Job Requirements:

Pursuing or completing postsecondary education in Human Resources and/or Business Administration.
Knowledge of and experience working with local HR legislation.
6 months to 1 year of HR or related experience is preferred.
Excellent English language skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work in our Vancouver, BC office.
High attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
Comfortable with Google Workspace and general technology/software.
