Core Logistics International is a 3rd party transportation company that services the local GTA dealing primarily with freight forwarders, shippers, and airport pickup/deliveries.

We cover a range of transportation modes, in addition to providing local transport and warehousing.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Dispatcher.

Business Information:

Overtime after 45 hours
Average 40hour week
Weekly pay via direct deposit

Qualifications:

Able to work independently and in a group setting.
Able to understand workflow and anticipate potential issues before they arise.
Able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency while having patience to deal with issues.
Very strong computer skills.
Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
Highly organized, scheduling reminders and calendar events for yourself.
Able to pick up on discrepancies/irregularities and relay that information to the appropriate parties.

Job Responsibility

Dispatch orders on the daily basis to our team of drivers (10+) using our route optimization software.
Arrange for vehicle service when prompted by our system's maintenance alerts.
Quote customers using our quoting platform using a variety of transport companies.
Scan any physical documents and attach it to our system (we're a paperless company).
Autorate files and verify any auxiliary charges before accounting invoices the customer.
