Forest Ridge Landscaping is a family owned and operated landscape design, installation and maintenance company for over 25 years.We work on a variety of contracts throughout GTA and surrounding areas, with commercial and residential landscaping projects including hardscaping, soft scaping, grading, retaining walls, planting, sodding.

Responsibilities:
- Planning daily/weekly schedule (or for call outs for winter work) including allocations of staff, vehicles and equipment
- Daily roll out of staff from the yard ensuring staff have their safety gear, know their tasks for the day, have the appropriate equipment
- Regular check ins onsite throughout the week to ensure work is getting completed efficiently and accurately according to the contract
- Onboarding new staff introducing them to the team and ensuring they have the proper gear, safety training.
- Provide onsite training for equipment and site expectations
- Establish excellent client relationships to ensure contract expectations are exceeded, and problems are solved in an efficient manner.
- Assisting staff and mechanic where needed
- Completion of paperwork for contracts and health and safety documentation
- Communicating with the office regarding contract billing/ extra work
Essential Requirements
- Valid driver's license in good standing, as well as clean abstract (D/A/Z license as well as previous truck/trailer experience a definite asset)
- Ability to work Monday-Saturday
- 2+ years' experience in similar role
- 35+ years of experience in the landscape industry
- Ability to enforce the safety, quality and productivity of work at sites
- Working knowledge and compliance of company policies and procedures as well as safety programs (any previous certificates ie. first aid considered an asset)
- Demonstrated ability to accurately complete forms, reports, hand in documents in a timely manner
- Working knowledge/proficiency with landscape maintenance and horticultural materials (incl. operation of equipment)
- Demonstrated ability to operate string trimmers, riding mowers, leaf blowers and manual lifting of up to 50lb
- Winter maintenance experience a MUST
- Ability to manage a large group of employees, working extended hours/weekends as necessary

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift

Experience:
Landscape Maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Ontario Drivers Licence (required)
