    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years of experience in land administration
    • Post-secondary diploma in a related field or commensurate experience in lieu
    • Commissioner of Oaths (AB)
    • Working knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements applicable to surface land
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to curate positive relationships
    • Proficient computer and file management abilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
    • Land broker experience is preferred
    • Crown experience is required
    • Familiarity with AEP applications and process
    • Familiarity with Parks applications and process
    • Familiarity with FNC process within ACO DS system
    • Familiarity with AER applications (RTF, renewal, amendment, no-entry cancelation, etc.)
    • Familiarity with reviewing shapefiles and usage to confirm application requirements
    • Experience with timber requests and managing approvals
    • Experience pulling ACMIS, FWMIT and EDP reports
    • Experience with CLR clearance notifications

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conduct searches (land titles, conservations, corporate, caveat, etc.)
    • Prepare, audit and deliver accurate documentation for freehold acquisitions and maintenance
    • Prepare field files for land agents, notifications, line lists, third party and road use agreements
    • Practice sound judgement to ensure projects are completed to scope
    • Adapt to changing regulation, procedure, and liaise with operators to obtain third party and road use agreements
    • Work independently and collaboratively whilst providing assistance to others as-needed

    LOCATION

    • This position primarily in-office with potential of some remote work flexibility
    • Head office is located in Airdrie, AB
