    Description

    What you'll do:

  • Provide functional payroll support throughout the payroll processing cycles.
  • Pull reports from payroll systems to verify accuracy of payroll transactions and troubleshoot the resolution of identified discrepancies.
  • Respond to inquiries, identify and resolve problems within Oracle payroll, inbound and outbound data transfer issues, support the creation and maintenance of new payroll elements, process mass payments and electronic funds transfers.
  • Support the development and maintenance of system functional specifications pertaining to any payroll changes to new and existing requirements.
  • Create and update operating and training manuals, and communicate system changes and upgrades to end users in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain user defined tables within Oracle payroll that house the information that supports the administration of payroll.
  • Contribute to the development of statistical and operational reports for core time and attendance and payroll functions.
  • Perform payroll corrections and ensuring that all payroll processes and practices meet payroll regulatory requirements.

    Who you are:

    You are looking for a career Payroll Services and:

  • Have a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in payroll processing and/or providing support for payroll systems.
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, with a major in Accounting or relevant field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have previous experience using Oracle payroll.
  • Are familiar with Kronos (this is considered an asset).
  • Have knowledge of General Ledger and Payroll Accounting.
  • Have a Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification (this is considered an asset).
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
