Job Description:

ADGA Group Consultants Inc.

is hiring a Junior Security Analyst to support the Security Services & Facilities (SFS) Renewal Program for one of our client's.

The Junior Security Analyst will provide support on projects of the SFS Renewal Program.

This role requires experience working with a team to assess, develop and enhance security processes and documentation, as well as delivering tasks in a timely manner.

This role will assist in improving security posture to protect its' people, information, and other assets.


Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure that project objectives and deliverables are achieved on time.
  • Map data flows and security business processes and create conceptual diagrams in Microsoft Visio.
  • Conduct analysis on identified business needs and problems and develop process improvements for security related areas when required.
  • Assist in the development and/or update of security policy instruments, procedures, and other documents.
  • Conduct analysis, prepare reports and presentations in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and communications.
  • Support project teams with ad hoc tasks and deliverables and participate in multiple assigned projects as required.
  • Support change management activities on security related topics.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities based on project needs.
  • Organizational skills in maintaining and updating project artifacts using SharePoint.

Qualifications:


Education:

College or University Degree in a relevant field.


Experience:


  • Previous experience (internships, coop, or entrylevel positions) in a security analysis role or related field.
  • Familiarity with security processes, policies, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Visio for creating conceptual diagrams.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in mapping data flows
  • Proficiency in assisting in the development and/or update of security policy instruments, procedures, and other documents.
  • Working knowledge of and understanding of the Policy on Government Security and the Directive on Security Management.
  • Experience in the development of training materials and other communications
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for maintaining and updating project artifacts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders and clients to achieve project objectives.
  • Ability to analyze identified business needs and problems and develop process improvements in securityrelated areas.
  • Ability to support project teams with ad hoc tasks and deliverables.
  • Capacity to participate in multiple assigned projects simultaneously.

  • Must currently hold Federal Government Enhanced Reliability Clearance
