Martin Geomatic Consultants Ltd. (MGCL) is a land surveying and civil consulting engineering firm located in Lethbridge.

For over 50 years we have been providing service to the public, government, and land developers across Canada and more particularly, Southern Alberta.

In addition to legal and construction surveys, MGCL specializes in precise engineering and geodetic surveying.

We are looking for a Full time Receptionist/Secretary to work 8:00 - 5:00pm, Mon-Fri.


Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Greeting and Processing Clients
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Opening new jobs and Files
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
  • Closing files
  • Invoicing
  • Typing letters, tender docs
  • Errands
  • Title searches

Requirements:


  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word a benefit.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced office environment
  • Handson experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communications and organizational skills.
  • Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • High school degree
  • Develop strong client relationships and help to market professional services
  • Develop and foster a cohesive and positive work atmosphere for all staff

Salary:
$19.00-$22.00 per hour
