Description

Euroworld Corporation is looking an experienced Civil Draftsperson with at least 5 years of work experience to work in GTA based company in the province of Ontario.

Responsibilities:

Drafting and Design: Create detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints for civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, land development, drainage systems, and more.

CAD Proficiency: Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools proficiently to produce accurate and detailed drawings.

Interpretation of Designs: Interpret and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data to develop precise drafts in compliance with project requirements.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, surveyors, and other team members to ensure alignment with project goals and specifications.

Adherence to Standards: Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in Ontario.

Quality Assurance: Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards.

Documentation: Maintain organized records and documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Communication: Effectively communicate with project stakeholders to address inquiries, incorporate changes, and provide updates on drafting progress.


Qualifications:

Education: A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Previous experience in civil drafting or a similar role within the construction or civil engineering industry is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and familiarity with civil engineering design principles.

Knowledge: Understanding of Ontario's building codes, regulations, and standards relevant to civil engineering and drafting.

Attention to Detail: Ability to create precise and accurate drawings while paying attention to project specifications.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and with clients or stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Capacity to identify and resolve drafting-related issues or discrepancies.

Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to evolving project requirements.


Salary:
$39,816.00-$58,056.00 per year
