Description

Sodexo Canada is seeking an experienced individual to fill the dynamic role as a Part Time/ Casual Cook and join the team supporting patient food service operations.

The Cook is open to a variety of shifts including days and weekends. All frontline employees are members of the Hospital Employee's Union. Training is provided.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Who You Are

• Minimum grade 10 education
• FoodSafe Level 1 and 2 certifications
• Culinary training / certificate is an asset
• Experience working in healthcare or high production kitchen is an asset
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent time management and problem solving skills required
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
• English Language proficiency, verbal and written

Other Requirements upon hire:

• Current vaccinations records (Tetanus, Diptheria, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Chicken Pox, Hepatitis A & B, Tuberculosis screening)
• Valid Criminal Record Check through the Ministry of Justice
