As a Property Administrator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our properties.

You will be responsible for providing property management office administration and maintenance support, as well as exceptional customer service to our tenants.


Responsibilities:


  • Rent Collection and Arrears Management
  • You will be responsible for managing rent collection and arrears, including rent geared to income calculations, preparing and mailing rent notices, entry of rental and other payments into Yardi, serving all legal notices in relation to nonpayment of rent, and other related issues under the RTA and HSA.
  • Work Order Processing and Maintenance Management
  • You will be responsible for distributing work orders to superintendents, receiving and updating work orders on a daily basis, scheduling and following up on contractor work (plaster, painting, flooring, etc.), and ensuring all maintenance requests are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.


  • Vacancy Management

  • You will be responsible for processing Notices to Vacate, Acknowledgement to tenants, scheduling inspections, creating work orders for unit preparation by superintendents and contractors, and processing former tenant files.


  • Yardi Database Management

  • You will be responsible for maintaining tenant and property records in the Yardi Voyager Database, ensuring that all information is accurate and uptodate.
  • Annual Rent Review process
  • You will be responsible for sending, receiving, and processing all yearly rent reviews, ensuring that all rents are reviewed in a timely and accurate manner.


  • Lease Administration

  • You will be responsible for preparing leases and conducting lease interviews, completing all documentation including tenant set up to new unit, and ensuring that all leases are in compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Customer Service and Tenant Liaison
  • You will be responsible for providing exceptional service and responding to tenant enquiries on a timely basis, ensuring that all tenants are satisfied with their living experience.
  • Utilizing Company and client computer software
  • You will be responsible for using a variety of software programs, including Yardi, HMS, Easytrac, and Axiom, to manage property information and provide various reports.
  • Providing various daily, weekly, and monthly Management reporting
  • You will be responsible for generating reports as needed by management.
  • Other assignments within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job as reasonably requested from time to time by management.

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in business administration or related field is preferred.
  • 13 years of property management experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager or other property management software is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
