Overall Position Overview


The Store Development/Purchasing Assistant is an individual who will support the administrative work related to new store opening procurement in North America region.

The incumbent should have a thorough understanding of the Uniqlo internal procurement process and payment flow while communicating with vendors in a timely manner to meet deadlines while coordinating with the store development and design managers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Using Uniqlo internal system to make purchasing order (PO) related to new store procurement and tracking the invoice until the payment has been completed.
  • Timely communication with vendors to create the new bank account in Uniqlo procurement system.
  • Support Store Development Team with other administrative tasks including meeting setup, noting meeting minutes.
  • Strict adherence to internal company regulations/governance for confidential information including documents and data.
  • Additional duties as required.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of MS office suite and Google Suite (e.g. excel, word, power point, google sheet).
  • Numerical accuracy with accounting administrative work experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well with cross functional team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate professionally (written and verbal) with business partners.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
