Description

The Accounting Intern will report to our Financial Analyst. This person will be key in aiding with internal accounting and finance procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with month end closings;
Preparing invoices and dealing with customer information requests;
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable;
Managing transactional finance activities with our third party providers;
Information gathering for grants and subsidies;
Perform adhoc tasks and prepare various reports upon management's requests;

What we're looking for:

Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of a university program with a focus in Accounting;
Interest in obtaining CPA designation;
Proficient with Google Sheets or Excel;
A hardworking, ambitious individual interested in maximizing their personal development;
Excellent verbal and communication skills (Bilingualism French and English);
Minimum 20 hours per week;
Able to commute to the office in the old port (hybrid work model);
