Reporting to the School of Physiotherapy Director/Assistant Dean Innovation (Director), the Coordinator is a professional who shares, responsibility with the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education (ACCE) in managing the administrative and academic aspects of the Practice Education Program. Key Responsibilities
    • Responsible for the successful communication, coordination, organization and monitoring of all Clinical placements in the School.
    • Continually engage with, recruit, and monitor clinical sites. Interact with current partners to communicate program needs, criteria for participation and available supports.
    • Provide support in onboarding students and preceptors to the clinical education program. Implement awards and recognition processes for preceptors and clinical partners.
    • Identify and work with sites, preceptors and students to reinforce school policies and messaging related to clinical education matters.
    • Develop and support innovative administrative systems and processes to manage and optimize School resources (i.e. electronic student health records, electronic evaluation tools, etc.).
    • Design and maintain feedback collection systems that yield useful data. Data collection to identify needs from the perspective of both preceptors and students
    Note The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines. Required Qualifications
    • An entry-to-practice degree in a Health Field with approximately, five years' of relevant experience in administrative experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
    • Ability to work effectively with key stakeholders to enable participation by using and promoting shared decision-making approaches.
    • Proficient in standard computer applications (e.g. Microsoft office suite) including data base management.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritizing skills with exquisite attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
    Assets
    • Familiarity with online learning management systems and technology that facilitates distance communication and learning (e.g. Brightspace, TEAMS).
    • Experience in a university health care setting.
