We are looking for an experienced production coordinator to join us on an upcoming CG production at our Vancouver studio

Atomic Cartoons Inc. is an award-winning animation studio with locations in Vancouver's Mt. Pleasant Animation District, Ottawa's Hintonburg neighborhood and Los Angeles.

Since its inception 25 years ago, Atomic Cartoons has created and produced numerous 2D and CG animation productions including Princess Power and Last Kids on Earth.

Atomic is well known for its artist-friendly culture and flexible work environment. We are always looking for artists of all levels to join our team


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Provide updates, priorities, schedules, and status of all assets and shots to artists, production and leadership.
  • Ensure Shotgun statuses and task assignments are updated and maintained.
  • Coordinate and package shot deliveries including submission documentation.
  • Ensure teams are clear on daily delivery objectives and act as an I/O coordinator for deliveries.
  • Ensure effective communication and timely team updates.
  • Document decisions and requests, and ensuring items are tracked and managed appropriately.
  • Communicate any schedule changes to appropriate stakeholders and escalate to Supervisor/Producers when needed.
  • Ensure work is being approved, completed on time and to specifications.
  • Responsible for delivering all material to the client.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


  • Experience coordinating on a CG animated production (series or feature) is required.
  • Experience with Autodesk Shotgrid.
  • Knowledge of the 3D Pipeline and workflow an asset.
  • A great attitude.
  • Able to remain focused on the big picture without losing track of the details.
  • Able to work and communicate effectively in a collaborative, fastpaced environment while meeting deadlines
  • Technically savvy and proficient.
  • Currently legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • BC residents are strongly preferred for this role.

START DATE:
April 2024


All Atomic employees in this role have the opportunity to work remotely within BC, artists within Vancouver and the Lower Mainland can also choose hybrid and in-studio options.


  • At Atomic Cartoons and Thunderbird Entertainment, we take into consideration a wide range of compensation factors including background, skills, location, and experience to determine competitive pay. In addition to competitive pay, _this position is eligible for companysponsored benefits including medical, GRSP, vacation pay, paid holiday break, paid leave, _and a variety of other discounts and perks.

Please note:

This expected pay range is for British Columbia and is not applicable to locations outside of the province of British Columbia.

  • Wage ranges are based on a weekly rate._

Vancouver Pay Range
- $1,100—$1,250 CAD
