Title of Course: : Foundations of Project Management

Compensation

Effective September 1, - $7,.48 per half course ( hours nominally)
Effective September 1, - $14,.95 per full course ( hours nominally)
Please note: Instructors who are employed in a 2-hour/week lecture, or the equivalent of a 2-hour/week lecture, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.

Duties

Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement. These include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty).

Qualifications

1. Applicants must hold an MA, or PhD in a Humanities or Social Science discipline with a focus on digital media; applicants who also hold a PMP will be given special consideration. If there are no qualified applicants, we will consider senior doctoral candidates.

2. Evidence of teaching effectiveness in project management or related areas.

3. Familiarity with the features of an online learning management system.

4. Evidence of effective course leadership (e.g., working with TAs).
