Temporary Heavy Duty Cleaner (Nights)


Location:
Lansdowne Mall, Richmond BC


Shift:
Thursday to Monday - 9:30pm to 6:00am - Shift times may vary based on operational requirements


Wage:
$18.28/hr

About the Role:

We're looking for reliable, conscientious individuals with who take pride in shiny clean spaces.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity to support our client by providing an essential service - keeping their workforce safe.

This position will last approximately until July 24, 2024 with the possibility of extension. If you understand the importance of Health & Safety, sanitation and cleanliness, we want to hear from you.


What you'll be doing:


  • Disinfecting all high touch point areas
  • Operating heavyduty cleaning equipment: autoscrubbers, burnishers, etc.
  • Troubleshooting minor repairs on cleaning equipment
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
  • Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, gym, shower rooms and exterior etc.
  • Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
  • Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills
  • Any other tasks assigned under the scope of work for Lansdowne Mall

You have:


  • A willingness to work and learn
  • The ability to obtain a background or security clearance
  • Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
  • Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
  • A great team player
