Position Summary:

• Responsible for the provision of personal care of Residents and Private Clients.
• Utilize the Resident's Care Plan to provide individualized care.
• Promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual wellbeing of residents and families.
• Complies with policies, procedures, and work routines.
• Ensures a safe and clean work environment.
• Works in partnership with other individuals and departments to promote customer service for residents and their families.

Qualifications:

-
Health Care Aide Certificate.

• Registered Nurse Student who has successfully completed their 2nd year.
• Licensed Practical Nurse student who has successfully completed their 1st year of schooling and meet qualification requirement.
• Current Criminal Record Check, Child, and Adult Abuse Registry Checks.
• Preference given to applicants with work experience in a Continuing Care setting.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
• Mentally and physically able to perform duties as outlined.
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and to complete assignments in a safe and timely manner.
• Demonstrates concern and interest in providing a safe and attractive environment for residents, families, guests / visitors, and staff.
• Demonstrates effective communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to function as an effective team member with other staff, residents, families, and the public.

Salary:

$18.00-$19.30 per hour
