Required

  • Enrolled in final year of Nursing Program with an anticipated completion date of 202
  • Completion of Coronary Care 1 or equivalent (ex. previous Cardio Concepts QHC) or willing to register to an eligible course within 60 days and completion within 6 months of commencement of position (or mutually agreed upon dates).
  • Current CPR or BCLS certificate.
  • Capable of coping with a physically demanding workload. (Physical Demands Analysis PDA available to review)
Duties

  • Develop and implement a nursing plan of care
  • Work in collaboration with the patient and the interdisciplinary health care team
  • Maintain clinical competence and knowledge base through continued education and lifelong learning
  • Utilize evidencebased practice as a base in the promotion of professional accountability
  • Provide safe, competent and ethical nursing care
