    We are looking for a Tunnel Designer for the Pape Tunnel Underground Section project in Toronto, Canada.

    The Tunnel Designer is responsible for the planning, design, and management of tunnel construction projects. Use their expertise in geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, and tunneling technology to create safe, efficient, and cost-effective tunnel solutions that meet project requirements.

    The international professional will have the following key responsibilities:

    • Site-based designer responsible for planning and development of Preliminary and Final Design related to a mechanized tunnel in urbanized environment;
    • Coordination of team resources producing the design packages (drawings, report, calculations);
    • Definition of the methodology for the tunnel design in cooperation with the partners, in compliance with local, national and international standards and guidelines;
    • Attendance in meetings with the Client and other partners;
    • Certification and stamps of all the tunnel design deliverables as Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO);

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
    • At least 10 years experience in Underground Infrastructures Design, mostly related to TBM tunnels;
    • Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO) License (or equivalent, achieved in Canada);
    • English level B2.
