- Administer a personal insurance book of business
- Selling ICBC and private automobile coverage
- Front line underwriting as well as writing new home, travel and umbrella policies while cross selling other products
- Develop new business opportunities by securing renewals and cross selling new products
- Contact clients for renewal information and updating information as changes occur
- Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry
- Setting and adhering to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan, Private Auto Sales production
- Interpreting and ensuring that insurer and BC Insurance Council rules and regulations are followed
- Ensuring control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds
- Handling any customer complaints appropriately
- Level 1 General Insurance License
- 6+ months of previous insurance experience
- Strong communication written and verbal; someone who is experienced in building relationships with clients through a customer service mindset
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a high sales drive and initiative
- A valid driver's license and your own personal vehicle
- You have or are working towards an industry designation

Our Community Branch Network Division is seeking a client-focused Insurance Advisor . We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Our Aldergrove location is located within the Countryside Centre shopping centre on Fraser Highway. As a long-time member of the community, we are proud to service the Aldergrove area with their auto, home and travel insurance needs.

The expected salary range for this position is $42,000 to $48,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
