Role:
Construction Manager, Industrial

Location:
Country Canada Wide
Reporting to the respective site Project Manager, the duties of the Construction Manager will include:

Ensure plans and schedules have been optimized and integrated by incorporating building trade, Corporate and industry best practices;
Management and oversight of subcontractor work scopes and installation;
Organization and preparation of labour resource requests;
Supervise the Superintendent teams and the respective trades crews;
Ensure production within the field is being met through daily walk downs and engagement;
Discuss and assist with any construction challenges that come up within installation;
Above all else, promote safety to all within the field and on site
15+ years construction management experience required;
Past experience leading multimillion project scopes, preferrable in an industrial environment;
Experience working and motivating staff and trades teams;
Able to identify budget and project costs and recommend options to mitigate project delays;
Possess verbal, written and presentation skills;
Knowledge of design build and other alternative build techniques;
Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred;
Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others.
