THE ROLE

Under the supervision of the Personnel Support Programs (PSP) Facilities Coordinator, you will maintain facilities (grounds and indoor and outdoor playgrounds), inspect equipment and facilities to ensure they meet established safety standards and take any necessary corrective measures.


You will also be responsible for repairing or replacing defective or worn-out parts and components using appropriate tools, verifying inventory and reporting unusual conditions or out-of-order equipment to their supervisor.


Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring client safety so that Canadian Armed Forces members can use the PSP facilities efficiently and safely.


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**High school diploma
AND some years of experience in a related field

OR

An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered


AND
A valid driver's license (Quebec)


Experience
In the issuing of sports equipment

In the preparation and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities

In equipment maintenance


Competencies, Skills and Abilities
