Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team.
As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment to perform tasks such as trenching, basement excavation, demoltion, pad prep and grading.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for career advancement.Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as skidsteers, and excavators to complete assigned tasks
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
- Adhere to project specifications and timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation
- Valid commercial driver's license
- Proficiency in operating skidsteers, excavators and other heavy equipment
- Knowledge of landscaping is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
Salary:
$30.58-$32.25 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
