Description

Glaze Wall Services Ltd is a growing installer of Curtain Wall, Windows, Doors and Commercial Store Front Entry Systems for commercial high rise, commercial industrial, store front, and multi-unit residential apartment and hotel type buildings.

We are currently seeking Glaziers to work in Edmonton and surrounding Areas.


In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Installing curtain wall and commercial store front entry systems and weatherproof joints,
• Fabricate and build frames & curtain walls,
• Handling glass safely in accordance with company safe work practices
• Knowledge on how to handle & carry glass properly,
• Maintaining a clean and safe job site
• Maintain an excellent relationship with contractors and clients,
• Other duties as required

Primary Qualifications Required:

• 3 or more years of experience
• Must be reliable, responsible, hardworking and willing to learn
• Experience using hand tools and basic power tools
• Must be comfortable working at heights
• Ability to work from mobile equipment such as manlifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment is an asset
• Journeyman Glazier ticket an asset
• Fall Protection ticket, CSTS, and Standard First Aid training is an asset
• Construction experience an asset
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must be flexible and work effectively in a fastpaced environment,
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills,
• Must have own hand tools, safety equipment including steeltoed safety boots, safety harness, hard hat and proper winter gear
• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work alone or with a team
• Take responsibility and demonstrate integrity in all aspects of work

Status of position:

• Competitive hourly wage

$26.00-$33.00 per hour
