Description
The Wing Spot is looking to hire an enthusiastic kitchen hand for our restaurant in downtown Barrie

  • Food service industry experience is an asset
  • Multitasking between orders and fulfilling order requirements
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Complete all work related tasks and duties required to successfully execute menu item production.
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, prepping chicken)
  • Clean up station and stock the station
  • Ability to manage inventory
  • Comply with kitchen manuals, recipe and prep sheets, daily work sheets, kitchen procedures, cleaning schedules and all other duties required to successfully execute daily routines in an efficient kitchen.
  • You have the ability to support operations in the kitchen or step it up and lead when required
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Please note - Applicants must have open availability. Willing to work mornings and evening shifts.

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$15.50-$17.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:


  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
