Our AV Technicians focus on Audio, video and lighting engineering and the role involves the set-up, operation and dismantling of the equipment for live and virtual productions as well as shop and equipment maintenance responsibilities.

We provide our expert services to the nation's most exciting virtual, in-person and hybrid events ranging from concerts, sporting, festivals, trade shows, and galas, to conferences and equipment rentals.
We deliver events far and wide across Canada and the USA.What you will have the opportunity to do:
- Set-up, operation and dismantle of AV equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise
- Liaise with internal team to develop solutions for audio/video/lighting configurations in order to meet project requirements
- Provides an exceptional customer service experience to clients and/or venue staff
- Loading and unloading of equipment from trucks or trailers
- Driving company vehicles and operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Assist in the prep and deprep of equipment and provide general warehouse support
- Ensure proper storage, transportation and maintenance of equipment
- Complete required paperwork and data entry in a timely and accurate manner
- Other duties as required
To be successful in this role you:
- Have 1+ years of audio visual experience within live events
- High school education required and an AV technical education is preferred
- Have a valid class 5 BC drivers license or equivalent (preferred)
- Are physically fit, safetyminded and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have a professional work ethic with a positive cando attitude
- Are a Reliable team player who is flexible and willing to assist with other departments as appropriate
- Possess strong problem solving skills with the ability be proactive and identify potential issues
- Have the ability to be flexible in working hours and be available to work outside of regular business hours

$23.00-$28.00 per hour
