Overview of role:

Reporting to the Sr.

Line Maintenance Manager, the Hanger Attendant will provide support to the production team by performing a number of tasks contributing to a safe and efficient hanger environment.


Key deliverables include:


  • Perform hanger housekeeping activities such as garbage and recycling collection and disposal, floor cleaning and restocking of hanger consumables;
  • Participate in and document safety, facility, quality control and environmental inspections as well as the implementation of corrective actions approved by the Base Manager;
  • Carry out and document elementary maintenance of GSE and biweekly fluid and functionality checks;
  • Take safety actions such as clearing and sanding external walkways and doorways, performing annual ladder and stand inspections, and restocking spill kits;
  • Perform general hanger equipment repairs such as for water hoses and reels, electrical cords and reels, and water filter replacements;
  • Support the Shops team in staging and performing supervised tooling and inspections and repairs;
  • Assist with visitor and contractor hanger access and supervision;
  • Support the Stores Team with the movement of parts and tooling between hanger and ramp locations;
  • Assist the Ground Equipment Team with the movement of equipment to and from our vendors;
  • Engage in refueling some GSE such as GPUs, Heaters, Jet Starts, and Stair Trucks.

Experience and qualifications:


  • Minimum High School Education;
  • Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in a similar environment;
  • Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract;
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid RAIC and AVOP;
  • Knowledge and aptitude for basic mechanical and electrical tasks.
