Technical Administrator - Ottawa, Canada - Regional Group
Description
We are seeking a Technical Administrator to support both the Multi-Family and Commercial team and the Land Development team in meeting strategic goals and objectives.
About the role
Your key accountabilities will include:
- maintaining executives' calendars by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
- assisting with record tracking and filing, cheque requisitions and transmittals.
- completing and actioning monthly credit card statements for the Executives.
- maintaining hard copy and digital project files and archiving superseded files as required.
- posting all documents to the server during all phases of a project.
- taking minutes of team, city and site meetings and ensures action items are highlighted.
- conducting internet research as requested.
- preparing and managing reports, meeting materials, and other communications in a way that is professional and reflective of the firm.
- proofreading, editing, and revising written materials to the highest standard; liaising with marketing as required for graphics and branding.
- maintaining full contact list of all staff, Trade Partners, Consultants.
- assisting with the annual budgeting process.
About you
You have/are:
- 3 years' experience in a coordination or technical support role.
- a strong team player.
- strong written and verbal communication skills.
- highly organized with ability to prioritize multiple tasks from multiple sources in a busy environment.
- proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- the ability to read/understand working drawings (asset).
- the ability to process large volumes of information.
- flexible with ability to embrace frequent change.
