We are growing and we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Merchandise Services team as a
**Group Product Manager

  • Merchandise Systems.
  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Merchandise Services, in this role you will be responsible for delivering tools and technology which enable Home Hardware's merchandising teams to deliver programs to customers and dealers.

What you'll do:


  • Partner with the business to identify customer needs and design a multiyear product roadmap across a wide range of product capabilities (ex: supplier/item data, compliance tools, CRM, pricing tools, space, etc.).
  • Build partnerships with cross functional teams to develop and manage the group product roadmap, including identifying key product metrics (i.e., data quality, operating efficiency, etc.) to research and report on improvements through group product delivery, making recommendations on where to improve as appropriate.
  • Provide direction to crossfunctional teams, communicating the group product roadmap and aligning Leadership Team Members on progress, updates, issues, and risks.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor a team of Product Managers, leveraging industry best practices, to enable a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Lead the review process for product release by ensuring products maximize opportunity to deliver business value and maintain a minimum quality expectation.
  • Work closely with the Leadership Team, Merchandise Directors, and other crossfunctional partners to ensure change, training, and communication plans are prepared and supporting material is complete to release product successfully.
  • Track and report on product launch metrics, utilizing feedback to drive associated actions and product iteration; contributes to postlaunch reviews and drives incorporation of feedback in future product releases.

What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Scrum Master, PMP, CSPO would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate and direct a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Analysis skills to interpret sales statistics and marketing data.
  • Financial skills to follow a budget and evaluate the future profitability of products.
  • Change Management experience.
  • Excellent computer skills: embrace technology and uses it as a competitive advantage.
