Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. provides turnkey submetering and utility expense management services to property managers, building owners and developers across Canada. Wyse is unique in its ability to provide energy consumption transparency and accountability to its customers.

The Contract Manager will provide corporate and legal assistance, contract lifecycle management, as well as general administrative support.

They will oversee aspects of contracts and ensure that the whole contract is accurate based on clients' notes and feedback.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee agreement lifecycle in contract management software, from initial contract creation through to and post execution;
  • Track and monitor contractual milestones throughout the term of each contract and coordinate with the relevant departments during the contract implementation process to ensure that tasks are completed;
  • Draft, review, edit, and participate in the terms negotiation of contracts and proactively handle various contractual matters through to final signature completion, including but not limited to NDAs, MSAs, SOWS, Contractor Agreements, Vendor Agreements, etc.;
  • Report on contract exceptions to Senior Counsel and management team;
  • Provide legal support to Senior Counsel and business clients throughout contract negotiation process;
  • Provide legal research and contract analysis support to Senior Counsel
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of contractual document management system;
  • Coordinate with the relevant departments during handoff meetings to implement revisions made to agreements;
  • Communicate contractual obligations to sales staff and/or clients, as needed;
  • Maintain accurate administration of contract terms on contract management database;
  • Provide support to Senior Counsel and management with preparing and issuing various communications, letters, memoranda, and approval documents regarding contractual matters, on asneeded basis;
  • Monitor status of contract assignments and amendments;
  • Prepare and provide reports to Senior Counsel and management, as required, with respect to pending contract revisions, outstanding payments, difficult or problematic contractual issues in order to facilitate timely resolution and avoid escalation of disputes;
  • Report to Senior Counsel on a regular basis;
  • Other relevant duties will be assigned as required

Qualifications

  • 25 years of work experience with contract management
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software (CRM, Salesforce)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High degree of attention to detail, including ability to accurately review and proofread documents
  • Ability to successfully prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent time management is a must
