DESCRIPTION:
Our team is growing Sleeman Breweries is looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Advisor to support our Quebec teams.


Reporting to the National Manager, Talent Management and Communications, the Bilingual Talent Acquisition Advisor will support end to end recruitment for Quebec with a focus on hourly union/non-union, as well as seasonal hiring for the Quebec region.

Backup support may also be required to support recruitment in Ontario and the Western regions.

This is a hybrid position based out of Guelph, ON with flexibility to work remote as well as in the office.

Travel to Montreal and Chambly QC locations will required to support the needs of the business.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the recruitment process and lifecycle (end to end), including initial assessments, screening resumes, screening interviews, evaluating applicants, following the process from sourcing to offer.
  • Campus Recruitment to partner with local schools (colleges, university) in several regions for coop and new grad hires and attend campus events on behalf of Sleeman
  • Partner with client groups and HR team to build a recruitment plan that supports current and future business needs, develop position profile and discuss needs and requirements.
  • Provide support to Human Resources in their recruitment efforts, as required
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with business leaders and HR Management; communicate and collaborate to leverage talent.
  • Provide professional advice and expertise when consulting with hiring managers on a variety of staffing needs, employment legislation, hiring and employment data, and interpretation of internal HR policies and procedures.
  • Partner with 3rd party to conduct reference and background checks
  • Develop & manage relationships with third party recruitment agencies as need be
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist as required.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • Human Resources Certificate (CHRP designation) would be considered an asset;
  • Minimum 2 years end to end recruiting experience. Experience with sales recruitment would be considered a strong asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and French (written and spoken in both languages) required
  • Agency recruitment experience would be considered a strong asset
  • Demonstrated experience conducting competency and behavioral based interviews.
  • Strong knowledge of current government legislation as it pertains to recruitment and selection.
  • Proven consulting, negotiation, relationship management and followup skills, as well as attention to detail required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain open and honest relationships with employees and management.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multitask and provide accurate and timely information.
  • Experience in facilitating various HR related information or training sessions. (i.e. Orientation, Onboarding programs) would be considered a strong asset
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Some travel will be required
