Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • To establish timely and accurate controls and posting of transactions including rent roll, payment of rents and security deposits received
  • To communicate with tenants to collect on outstanding rent arrears
  • To prepare arrear and eviction notices
  • Bank deposit, EFT and cash handling
  • Account reconciliations
  • Data entry and posting of transactions
  • Document filing & office duties
  • To provide administrative supports to the office operation and other related property management and accounting duties as required.

Required Skills:


  • Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable experience.
  • College diploma or certificate in accounting or related discipline is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional business environment.
  • Working knowledge of property management and accounting software is desirable.
  • Knowledge of property accounting and Alberta Residential Tenancy Act is an asset.
  • Able to prioritize workload and work well under pressure and independently with a strong sense of urgency in a fastpaced environment to deliver quality results within deadlines
  • Result oriented with a high level of integrity and dependability.
  • Excellent client relationship building skills with a strong focus on exemplary customer service.
  • Strong time management, multitasking, problemsolving and people skills.

$36,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
