What you will do -

  • Coach, develop and lead direct reports (Lead/Sr Demand Planners, Demand Planners, Supply Chain Analysts) by providing growth opportunities and collaboratively document and execute Individual Development Plans (IDP)
  • Build and maintain exceptional employee engagement throughout the department by leading annual engagement sessions based on Q12/Pulse survey and adhoc feedback and ensuring action plans are documented and completed ontime
  • Create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team and cross functionally, enabling root cause problem solving and process improvement
  • Manage a team that will assemble, analyze, and adjust all data pertinent to creating the demand forecast: historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, financial budgets, and inventory levels. Team will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and validating data, as well as reviewing statistical forecast models
  • Lead and participate in development, modification and improvement of procedures, policies, processes, and technologies within the organization
  • Review KPIs to proactively identify misalignment between sales & marketing plans, financial plans, and the demand plan, and seek consensus through the Executive Demand Review process
  • Ensure that visibility is provided to the supply chain on expected demand or events through the demand signaling process by partnering with Marketing to understand relevant marketrelated data and competitive intelligence
  • Serve as the primary leadership contact for the Vice President, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and IBP business partners for each Business Unit

What you need-

  • Bachelor's Degree, required in Supply Chain Management or Finance or related field
  • 6 years working experience in a demand planning, supply planning, financial planning or commercial analytics environment of which 1 year is supervisory, required
  • Lean Six Sigma certification "preferred"
  • Medical device industry experience "preferred"
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills: Ability to analyze, resolve and communicate complex issues through effective independent judgement, required
  • Demonstrates excellence in teambased leadership, motivation, coaching and mentorship skills, with ability to create a high trust environment, required
  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
