Job Requirements:

Knowledge and demonstrable experience in S4 HANA

Understanding and knowledge of RISE offering

You will install, arrange, and maintain SAP software systems.

Knowledge and experience of SAP security - roles, profiles, user creation etc.

Knowledge of GRC is an asset


Work full-time to configure systems, set up needed accounts, and make sure that the entire SAP platform maintains optimal performance.

Responsibilities:


  • Handle daily operational activities. You will perform setup/configuration, object transports, troubleshooting, error handling, performance turning, and problem resolution. You will also schedule, perform, and oversee backups and restorations of SAP file systems. You will create, test, and plan disaster recovery for SAP servers.
  • Provide technical support for SAP systems. You will examine technical infrastructures, including transport and printer administration, job scheduling, designing, and implementing of SAP operational needs.
  • Actively monitor systems to ensure they are tuned and running. You will guarantee the security of the SAP system by carefully watching for any security breaches or breakdowns. Every day you will use root cause analysis when examining quality assurance issues to manage network access. You will be responsible that endusers and the SAP system can communicate with each other.
  • Create and manage user accounts. You will generate and manage SAP roles and profiles. Copy changes between systems and manage change requests. You will also schedule, monitor, and manage background jobs in a companyspecific database.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Working with technical details while keeping your eye on the big picture.
  • Take feedback from users about the SAP environment and optimize performance.
  • Handle the troubleshooting of systems on which SAP is configured in case any problem arises.
  • Design, install, configure, and administer SAP databases often.
  • Documenting SAP processes, procedures, and plans, including changes, upgrades, and new services, is a key duty of SAP basis administrators.
  • Serve as a goto resource for multiple groups and teams, such as IT business analysts, customers, and developers, so good interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Schedule the maintenance activity of multiple systems, juggle overlapping tasks, and inform relevant parties of any changes that are made.

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
  • SAP basis architect certification is a plus.

Location:

Initially it will be on site in North York area.
