Peter Lucas Project Management is a group of energetic and curious problem-solvers; we are currently looking for an subcontractor to fill a CSU Instrumentation role on our team.

This Instrumentation role is on site working two weeks in, two weeks out, 11 hr days


The key responsibilities are:

  • Ensuring all instrumentation work taken by them are completed in a safe manner, abiding by all safety program requirements.
  • Modifying, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and calibrating instrumentation installations.
  • Verifying installation, wiring, and terminations of control panels, instrumentation junction boxes, and field instruments.
  • Identifying and documenting deficiencies. Provide input and follow up on deficiencies to make sure they are addressed and closed satisfactorily.
  • Completing defined commissioning documentation (e.g. check sheets, ITPs and test reports).
  • Recording final and accurate asbuilt/asleft conditions on redline drawings, datasheets, and project documentation.
  • Participating in commissioning team meetings including, without limitation, daily toolbox, safety, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).

Salary:
Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:


  • Journeyperson status as an instrumentation mechanic or technician
  • Previous experience in a brown field commissioning environment
  • Hands on experience in commissioning and start up activities
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Safety certificate is preferred
  • Previous experience in a nuclear facility is considered an asset
  • Must be able to carry liability insurance
