JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:
Production Packer
Summary:
The Production Packer reports to the Supervisor on site and Manager of Contract Filling & Packaging and is responsible for the daily assembling and packaging of product.
Direct Reports:
None
Duties:
- Assembles and packs products.
- Performs quality checks on products and parts.
- Prepares finished products for shipment.
- Ensures a safe and healthy work environment.
- Fulfills other related duties as assigned.

Drive forklift
General knowledge of pneumatic tools and electrical systems
Knowledge:

Physical
Requirements:
- Standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Lifting materials up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting.
- Good eyesight, with or without corrective lenses.
- Eyehand coordination
Hours
8 hours/day (7:50 am to 4:20 pm) 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) Hours may vary depending on production needs
Communicates With:
Supervisor on site and Manager of Contract Filling & Packaging, fellow Production /Packers

Production assembler/packer
Job Duties from Job Description
- Assembles and packs product.
- Builds boxes from flats.
- Counts and packs rice hulls from bagging machine into boxes for shipping
- Packs product into boxes.
- Puts boxes on skids.
- Shrink wraps skids.
- Counts finished product to determine if product orders are complete.
- Loads finished product onto pallets for shipment.
- Maintains supplies inventory within workspace by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies.
- Ability to rotate through all the tasks required in the production process.
- Uses shrink wrap to ensure that product can ship.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Identifies defective product and reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Supervisor on site and Manager of Contract Filling & Packaging
- Lifts raw materials, finished products, and packaged items, manually or using hoists.
- Ensures a safe and healthy environment at ImagineAbility
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Wear the required P.P.E.
- Keeps equipment and warehouse clean and in good working order.
- Observes equipment to detect malfunctions and reports any to Supervisor on site and Manager of Contract Filling & Packaging Identifies and immediately reports all situations where someone's health or safety is being, or could be compromised to immediate supervisor.
- Adheres to all ImagineAbility Policies and Procedures at all times.
- Reports any act of abuse (physical, emotional, sexual, financial or neglect)
- Assists in other departments based on production needs.
- Training in the operation of sit down forklift and daily equipment checklists
- Meet daily production quota.
- Running at optimum capacity.
- Maintain Equipment. Turn on at the start of day, turn off at end of day and perform daily cleaning.
- Fulfills other related duties as assigned
Salary:
starting from $16-18 per hour based on experience
Hours: 40 per week
Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
