Description
Experience: 3 Years minimum


Essential Skills:
Decision making, Problem solving, familiar with slabs, walls, columns, zones, beams, slab bands.

Requirements:
Iron worker certificate or proof experience

  • Duties: Able to handle, unload and position rebar units so each piece can be hoisted as needed.
  • Load and unload materials as required and place rebar units in beams and pillars
  • Erect structural steel, install reinforcing steel and assemble and erect metal buildings
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
  • Perform physical work like packing rebar, snap typing rebar, cutting rebar with a cut saw and placing rebar chairs appropriately
  • Read and interpret detail sheets and drawings work with apprentices
  • Work at heights with positioning equipment.

Work Site Environment:
Indoors and Outdoors


Workplace:
Fraser Valley (different places)


Transportation:
Own Transportation required


Work conditions:
Dusty, Dirty and Physically demanding

Own tools:
Safety Glasses, Steel - toed safety boots, hard hat, gloves

Languages:
English (Spanish is an asset but not required)

$21.65-$45.07 per hour
