Part-Time Psychology Consultant

Aurora Academic Charter School in Edmonton is seeking a contract based Part-Time Psychology Consultant to join our emerging multidisciplinary school team.

The Psychology Consultant is an active member of the student services team, providing consultative and collaborative services for students from Kindergarten to Grade 9.

The Psychology Consultant provides a range of assessment, consultative services, and counselling services to support students.


Role

• Consult on and provide educational recommendations to meet students' cognitive, behavioral and socialemotional needs through the authority's referral process.
• Administer and report on student specific Psychoeducational assessment
• Provide counselling services to students and communicate with parents, with a focus on support for female and genderminority students.
• Collaborate and communicate with the school team
• Provide guidance and professional development to school team
• Able to provide services virtually and/or inperson

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Psychology
• Minimum three years direct experience
• Registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists
• Able to administer and signoff on Level B assessments and reports.
