Description

We are a small and reputable renovation and maintenance company seeking a skilled and versatile handyperson to join our team.

As a handyperson, you will play a crucial role in performing a wide range of tasks related to residential and commercial construction, renovations, maintenance and repairs.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to various projects while utilizing your expertise in multiple trades.


Responsibilities:


  • Investigate/trouble shoot repairs to provide a detailed report on findings
  • Provide corrective course of action to remedy issues.
  • Conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance.
  • Assist in construction and renovation projects, performing tasks such as framing, flooring installation, tile work, and finishing.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during projects and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • End of day reporting done through company utilized software system.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Solid knowledge and handson experience in multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general repairs.
  • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools required for construction and repairs.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality workmanship.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

This position is part time leading to full time depending on skills and company fluidity.


Please note that there may be times where after hours work is needed as we do work with commercial businesses that require maintenance to be done after or before business hours.

$30.00-$38.06 per hour
